Born in Ft. Riley, Kansas, Brittany Hillmon attributes her hard work ethic and morale values to her upbringing as an Army Brat. Brittany had the honor of representing her new found home as Mrs. Cypress Fairbanks in the Mrs. Texas Pageant 2016, where she placed in the top 20. As Mrs. Cypress Fairbanks, her platform was Feeding America. Being a teacher at a Title One school, she sees the impact lack of proper nutrition can have on a child’s health and academic achievement, and hopes to help bridge the gap with poverty and hunger.
Brittany volunteers locally with Girl Scouts and Cy-Fair Sports Association. Traveling, arts and crafts, and genealogy are a few interests of hers.
She is married to Michael Hillmon, who is an Army Veteran. They have 3 children, Jayda and Mikey both 7, and the newest addition, Naomi, who is 1 month old.
