The 2012 Miss Cy‐Fair Houston Pageant is limited to 50 contestants. Acceptance is based completed forms received on a first come first serve basis. The Cy‐Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to cancel the pageant if the number of contestants does not meet minimum requirements.

Official Rules and Regulations
To be eligible to compete in the 2012 Miss Cy-Fair Houston Pageant, all entrants must:
Be a female not less than 15 years of age or no more than 19 years of age as of March 30, 2012. Contestant must be classified as a high school freshman, sophomore, junior or senior. - or
Be a female 4 years of age by March 30, 2012.
Reside in the Cy-Fair Independent School District or have a physical home address within the CFISD boundaries or be home-schooled or be enrolled in a public or private school with an address within the CFISD boundaries.
Be of good moral character and have never been convicted of a Class C misdemeanor or greater offense. With the exception of a Class C misdemeanor traffic ticket.
Must be a naturally born female and a citizen of the United States.
Have never been married, divorced or had a marriage annulled.
Have never had a child or have been pregnant.
Not appeared in public or permitted oneself to photographed in partial or total nudity, or lewd, compromising or sexually suggestive manner; doing so would constitute a violation of eligibility.
Be an ‘amateur’ with no paid professional experience in modeling, dancing, acting or similar theatrical or entertainment vocation. “Amateur” means the entrant has NOT been compensated more than a total of $3,000 in the entrant’s lifetime.
Understand that all attire worn at the pageant must be modestly cut at neckline and length.
If selected as 2012 Miss Cy-Fair Houston or Miss Cy-Fair Princess, agree to appear at all functions requested by the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce that do not unreasonably interfere with entrant’s school performance. Entrant understands that these functions are to take priority over entrant’s other extracurricular activities.
Agree that all decisions of the Pageant Judges and Committee are final and may not be contested by the entrant or anyone acting on behalf of entrant for any reason whatsoever.
Understand that contestants are responsible for entry fee. Entry fees may either be paid individually or by a business sponsor.
Understand that securing a business sponsor is the responsibility of the contestant.
Understand that absolutely no refunds will be given 2 weeks before the pageant.
Agree that cell phones are NOT allowed behind stage or in the dressing room during the pageant. Failure to comply will disqualify contestant from participating in the pageant.
Guidelines by age group:
HIGH SCHOOL GUIDELINES ONLY
· Limited to the first 50 qualified High School age contestants
· 1 Black cocktail dress and 1 full-length evening gown required
· Dress rehearsal is required.
PRINCESS GUIDELINES ONLY
· Limited to the first 30 qualified contestants
· NO change of clothes are required
· NO dress rehearsal is required
· NO glitz; no make-up
